1. Information We Collect
When you use AkaLogger, we collect standard Discord API elements required for functionality:
- User Data: Discord ID, username, and avatar hash (for dashboard authentication).
- Guild Data: Server IDs, names, icons, and role IDs (to apply settings and verify permissions).
- Channel Data: Channel IDs and names (to route logs correctly).
- Event Metadata: Temporary payload data generated by Discord events (e.g., join/leave timestamps, moderation actions) strictly to format the log messages.
2. How We Use Your Information
Collected data is used exclusively to operate, maintain, and secure the AkaLogger service. This includes verifying dashboard access rights, generating configured log embeds, and diagnosing technical issues. We do not use your guild's data to train AI models or track users across platforms.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share any collected data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. Data is solely processed between Discord's API, our backend application, and your designated Discord channels.
4. Data Retention
Server configurations (Guild ID, Channel IDs, toggles) are kept as long as the app remains authorized in your guild. If you kick the app, your configuration data is orphaned and subject to periodic deletion. We do not store historical event logs in our database; event data is processed in-memory and immediately dispatched to your Discord channels.
5. Your Rights
As a guild administrator, you can request full deletion of your guild's configuration data by removing the app from your Discord guild and submitting a formal request via our support channels. Users can revoke dashboard authentication via their Discord authorized apps settings.
6. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this privacy policy or how we handle data, please reach out to our team via the official support Discord guild.
